Are you brand new to yoga or looking to review the basics? In this two-hour workshop, Erin will introduce you to the fundamentals of a vinyasa-style yoga practice. Students will learn about breath awareness and coordinating breath and movement, will receive instruction in some of the poses that are often encountered in basics classes, and will experience transitioning through a sequence of linked poses. Class etiquette and elements of the philosophy underlying the yoga practice will also be touched upon, and there will be opportunities for asking questions. This is a great way to get started with a new yoga practice so you can attend group classes with confidence!
